Six papers from the University of Chicago’s Department of Computer Science, along with two posters, one workshop, and one demo have been accepted at UIST 2024, a leading global conference for innovations in human-computer interfaces.

Students and faculty from the University of Chicago’s Department of Computer Science had six papers, two posters, one workshop and one demo accepted to ACM Symposium on User Interface Software and Technology (UIST) conference — the premier forum for innovations in human-computer interfaces. One paper from the Human Computer Integration Lab received an honorable mention. The full lineup of papers showcases a wide scope of HCI research being done at UChicago, ranging from generative shape -changing AI to augmented breathing and other wearable technologies.
